Jerry Quarry vs. Lorenzo Zanon. Quarry barely touched him in the 9th round and Zanon went down. Fight was stopped.
Ray Mercer/Marion Wilson was a ****ing fiasco. The commentators were up in arms over the terrible decision. Devon Alexander was supposed to be the next big thing and had a few fights in his hometown, in a row, that he should have lost. Matthysse and Kotelnyk.
Georges Carpentier VS Battling Siki makes me howl everytime I watch it hahaha that one was so rigged neither could decide who was making the dives or why? Hahaha
Jimmy Ellis vs. Floyd Patterson 1968 WBA Heavyweight Championship They put the fight together because Floyd Patterson 'was a name'. Jimmy Ellis was 'expected' to walk through Floyd with ease and batter him. Nobody wanted Floyd Patterson around anymore, and he wasn't going to win anything that had the 'WBA' logo on it. The WBA made sure Floyd did not get that decision.
Matthysse was a close fight. And he came back to completely dominate Maidana, he was in the wrong weightclass IMO.
Coggi-Gonzalez is likely the worst one I've seen. Just a few years ago, Martinez-Cintron was pretty terrible. Martinez basically robbed of his knockout victory, and then robbed of his clear decision victory. Emmanuel Augustus' first fight with Courtney Burton was another disgrace, and Mares-Agbeko I made me genuinely angry, more so than any other boxing match I have ever seen live.
Mr. Caballo That fight wasn't rigged....atsch Jerry landed a 'lucky punch' on an Italiano who had,,,,,un no mento'.
Ive often wondered about Sharkey/Carnera. Ive seen film of Jack Sharkey and he was very good. He had a nice skillset. Good speed and he could flat out fight. He lost to Primo Carnera?
Got hit by a ****ing mongoloid 60 pounds heavier and half a foot taller then him, is being knocked out in that scenario implausible?
