For me the Maidana - Broner fight was one of the most satisfying fights. It was'nt all a one-sided beatdown, Broner showed guts and fought back but the way Maidana OWNED him was great. Inoue-Donaire was another cliffhanger where Donaire was outboxed but was never outgunned and always threatened to bring it.
Joe Smith KO'ing Hopkins out of the ring. Lewis KO'ing Tyson. Calzaghe schooling either Lacey or Jones. AJ stopping Wlad.
This fight is a great example of why raw aggression and determination, can beat an opponent with superior skill and technique This content is protected
Tyson Fury - Wladimir Klitschko The latter gets away with largely fighting either old, or short men for 10 years. He finally faces someone of genuine quality and gets outclassed. All after the ridiculous ring set-up, wearing lifts in his shoes and proclaiming that he's a "therapist" for weeks on end before the bout.
I'll go with somewhat recent, in order. Johnriel Casimero - Zolani Tete Tyson Fury - Deontay Wilder Román González - Khalid Yafai Teófimo López - Richard Commey
Fury paddling Wilders delusional ass was indeed satisfying at the time but, it's only gotten better with each utterly ****ing ridiculous excuse that he's come out with since. Hopkins being all sour and bitter after losing to Calzaghe. Calzaghe delivering the Mutha of all ass whoopings on yet another American hype job (although I did feel for Lacey afterwards, he was actually a decent guy). Benn defeating Mclellan, yeah I know the final outcome was somewhat tragic but, having said all that, Karma can be a real ***** sometimes.
