I was gonna say, wtf do you have against Centeno or Hatley? Both seem like decent enough dudes.

Oh, I just skimmed the point of the thread bc I’m working. I have no good answer. I was pleased to see Williams beat Margo, but obviously there was no knockout.

The most brutal and shocking KO I saw live was when I was in Bangkok watching a Thai boxing match. One guy was a true technician, incredibly skilled, dominating the fight. But the other guy did a spinning back kick and knocked the better fighter out cold. Blood flew. It was brutal. Never seen anything like it before or since.

When Marquez sparked out Pedquiao in 2012, that was insanely gratifying.

I'm always a bit amused by the term enemies being used in real life by civilians. It's not incorrect, it just sounds funny to me to describe someone as your enemy. I just think of people I don't like as people I don't like. I don't convey any special status on to them.

I saw AJ in the amateurs fight some fat turd who came in with a 30 man entourage behind him giving it large, the fat guy had one big punch which was a huge leaping left hook brought up from beyond the grave which AJ kept out the way of and then caught fatty with a body shot that sounded like it broke a few ribs, the sound of this shot sounded like a loud clap that echoed around the hall! Fatty was down and rolling around the ring in agony for a good 10 minutes

Number 2 would be Haye finishing Chisora.

Number 1 would be the first fight I ever saw live. It was on the undercard of David Haye v Audley Harrison.

I remember being on holiday, and at night they always seemed to have kickboxing tournaments on TV, and like you said, the knockouts are insane, and they can come from absolutely nowhere, one good kick to the face and you're DONE! Boxing is still my favourite, but kickboxing and Thai boxing are brilliant to watch

I was amazed at the damage the kick did. The guy was flattened. It was grisly. Seemed illegal. I'm sure we have all seen it when these guys do these flying back kicks. Insane when it lands right. I think the whole kickboxing ritual is mesmerizing but at times I cringe at the results.

Exactly, I mean, Vitali Klitschko is known for having a solid chin right? Nobody really had him in trouble except maybe Lewis (old Lewis, but still Lewis) but in kickboxing he got iced
