Most satisfying for me is Lewis-Rahman 2. Nothing against Rahman at all. A likeable and funny guy, and a very decent hw. But he put Lewis through the ringer a bit for the 6 months prior to the rematch. The Rock with his sharper tongue was questioning Lewis' credentials, his sexuality and basically trying to emasculate him. Revenge was sweet with that iconic KO (a round quicker than Rahman done him) and also because of it's historical significance for Lewis. Plus the memorable overhead photo of Rahman wearing the Don King crown logo while star fished on the canvas. Sweet!
I was at the Echo arena when Big Pricey laid out A Farce. Was fantastic. Although shame Tiny Head is usually on the receiving end these days.
Sprott laying out Audley was pretty good. Audley was being a real dick to the the always friendly Sprott.
I was at Joshua v Klitschko and although I'm not necessarily a fan it was still good to see a Brit knock out an all time great in front of all his own people. Must have been the stuff of dreams after everyone in the stadium thought he was finished when he gassed out, myself included
Hatton v Pacquaio. Although I was rooting for Hatton, I was disgusted at some of the classless behaviour from the Hatton contingent: ‘You’re going home in a ****ing ambulance’, etc. There was a poetic justice when Pac chillingly knocked Hatton cold and silenced the idiots and that stupid ****ing brass band.
Prince Naseem knocking out Kevin Kelley at Madison Square Gardens in December 1997 was memorable. Travelled all the way from Scotland for it as a surprise for my dad's 50th
I was there when Mundine beat the brakes off that clown Sam Soliman was very satisfying to see that POS brutally stopped in that fashion.
Im the black guy jumping up and down and running in the background with the yellow long sleeve shirt. What a day. Feels like like only yesterday. This content is protected
