Which fights had the most servere cuts stoppage or no stoppage? Here's the ones that I think of first. Cassius Clay Vs Henry Cooper Muhammad Ali Vs Henry Cooper Joe Frazier Vs George Chuvalo Lennox Lewis Vs Vitali Klitschko
Vitali vs Lennox and Cooper vs Ali were the first to come to mind when I read the thread title. Lesser known, Mason Cartwright lip was cut pretty bad vs Darren Tetly -https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/boxing/article-5750077/amp/Mason-Cartwright-shows-gruesome-torn-lip-losing-Darren-Tetley.html#lnspr=W10= Fury vs Otlin is a bad a cut as I can recall a winning fighter sustaining.
Mark Kaylor v Dwight 'Tiger' Walker. By the 6th Kaylor had a cut that was absolutely streaming. The two fighters were drenched in Kaylor's blood including Harry Gibb, whose shirt was covered. But Gibb wouldn't stop the fight - I did not see a doctor once check Kaylor out unless it was done between rounds but Gibb sure didn't call anyone in. He let the fight go the distance despite the blood-letting and raised Kaylor's hand at the end of 10.
Johnny Lira had a fight — I think it was 1980 vs. Pedro Acosta on ESPN in Lira’s hometown of Chicago — where he got cut outside his eye and the cut was along a vein. You could see the blood spurting out. It didn’t obscure the vision of the “World Class Pug” as Lira was nicknamed (he was a good gatekeeper/fringe contender at 135/140 with a win over Andy Gannigan for the USBA 135 title being his best result) so they didn’t stop it, but he was wearing write trunks and by the end (it went the distance) the front of his trunks was completely red … as in if you tuned in late you’d assume he was wearing red trunks. Lira was able to keep going and won a decision.
Some of Walter McGowan's fights were pretty bloody! https://www.alamy.com/sep-09-1967-a...r-mcgowan-in-his-quest-for-image69431633.html https://www.alamy.com/jun-06-1966-w...330720f86726717d649c069ac0d35473&searchtype=0
