Duran quitting Fan man The riot Edwin Valero's violent crimes...because with money, fame , a 27-0 27 ko record and a bright future it was quite unexpected....
I would say Billy Collins-Luis Resto except knowing what we now know about Panama Lewis there’s nothing he wouldn’t do. In hindsight the only unexpected thing is he didn’t wrap a role of quarters in Resto’s hands while he was at it.

I don't know if one can say Steele did the 'right' thing when he decided to stop the Chavez-Taylor I fight with mere seconds left on the clock. Would we be saying he did the incorrect thing if he let it continue? Considering it was physically impossible for Chavez to administer any more damage to his opponent with the time remaining, I seriously doubt it. I don't think Steele did the 'wrong' thing either. The safety of the fighter is his number one priority and Taylor was given ample opportunity to signal to the referee that he was okay to continue. He did not do that. Either way, given the state of Taylor's face and the fact he was on his way to a clean knockout loss had it been a 12.5 rounder instead of a 12 rounder, I'm not sure how anyone can really protest the stoppage all that vehemently.
John Meekins getting flattened by Mohammed Kawoya just as the referee was stepping in to stop the fight. Officially a TKO win for Meekins, even though he himself was knocked senseless at the end of the fight.
The Bowe vs Golota post fight riot - when Big George played human shield protecting Merchant and Lampley. Shocking! Why did he protect them?
people say its "unfair" to referee a fight totally uncontextually but if you use critical thinking for half a second denying a clear KO victory would be unfair because referees are not meant to consider whos winning the fight. just fighter safety. people are essentially complaining richard steele didnt overstep his boundaries as a referee. as well as it being unsafe for meldrick, who was clearly out of it.
I heard Panama killed Artie Curley I think it was or someone who was in his circle who was murdered (in order to cover his tracks)
I mean its like, what was he supposed to do, say "you can keep fighting" after Taylor didnt respond to him?
