Most shot? Froch vs Ward or Eubank vs Calzaghe?

I was refering to this statement.

Eubanks was very good in his prime. And the fact he lost 5 out of his last 9 fights should suggest something to you. He was on the decline.\

Just saying with that way of thinking, we could end making this same argument about Ward/Froch a few years down the road.

I don't think Eubank ever looked shot, and while his durability and power were impressive 20 lbs over his usual weight, he did not look PRIME TIME against Carl Thompson. Eubank had no business at Cruiser, but he needed the money and it was a title shot he could get.

Making the comaprison of Eubanks spead and power copmparerd to Froch's in an inaccurate comparison. The only comparison Eubanks should have is to his younger, prime self.

I'm curious if this poster made the same allowances for Vitaly taking the Lewis fight on equally short notice.

    Of course he didnt.
TG1 is a stupid JMM / Mayweather egg head loving ***. :patsch
A green Calzaghe only had 7-10 days to get ready for a experienced vet like Eubank.

I think if Eubank was at his best that night or approaching it, he beats a green Calzaghe.

As a typical ESB-member I will never admitt I am wrong about anything, regardless of how stupid or absurd. But in this case it is hard to dispute your statement ... :think

I think I just disappear from this debate, and then stalk you in future threads and start bitching about whatever.

At the time, not at all. All my exposure came after.

I stand by that I think he beats a green Calzaghe. The more experienced Calzaghe.....takes it fairly wide IMO. Prime Eubank or otherwise.

    Why do you ask?
