i say nigel benn against gerald mcclellan in 1995. Drama and all out action. Great heart and skill by both men. I wish both of them would have their place in Canastota i also feel that gatti have a 80% chance of being in the Hall of fame in his 2nd year of eligibility
Benn-Eubank 1, massive fight in Britain, great war, 1 minature Mike Tyson against an excellent Counter Punching boxer in a complete war. The rivallry was massive and the rematch sold out a 50,000 stadium to my recollection. It should really have been a trilogy Benn, Eubank and Hamed should be in the hall of fame at some stage, I mean they are national celebs in Britain and it is called the hall of fame, if they don't get in I'd say that makes it an Anti-Euro bias. With no disrespect to Gatti (RIP) all 3 should be in before him.
