Toney is one of the most skilled fighters I have ever laid eyes on - repeating myself here, but Roach said it himself - he's the most talented fighter he's worked with.

The losses your talking about comes to Toney being a lazy *******, the fact that he's achieved what he has when for most of his career he hasn't been 100% dedicated just shows what how much talent he had.

Whitaker embarrasses Toney for overall skill. Even Toney on his very best form. They're offensive and defensive abilities in the pocket are comparable. Everywhere else, they're not. Pea was just a cut above.

    Ray Leonard for me !

They were all great skilled fighters but SRL is a notch above the rest imo ..

Hearns was a master boxer people forget that, he outboxed Leonard twice and the first time around Leonard had to out gut him to win and clearly lost the 2nd.

Hearns has never been outboxed, and this was not just due to physical attributes.

So surprised Roy Jones isn't leading the poll.

Sweet Pea had every skill in the book. He wasn't blessed with power, but his skill level was the highest I've seen.

Jones was all athletic ability. Once that slipped, he had no fundamentals to fall back on. Greatest athletic specimen in the ring, but clearly the least skilled on the list.

I'm on the Duran- pea fence like a lot of others. acutally I'm on the Duran/Pea/SRL fence to be exact.

Jones/Ali to me are the greatest athletes of the group, but not the most skilled.

Since it's peak, then my question is who has the best win of the three, and I guess that belongs to Duran over SRL.

On the flip side, if Pea had power he'd have been unbeatable, so either one works for me.
