Most skilled: Gilberto Roman, Ricardo Lopez, or Juan Manuel Marquez

    Gilberto Roman was the fastest, both hand and foot speed and also the slickest. Can also fight on the inside.
    JMM has the best combinations, counter punching, recovery, and adaptability.
    Ricardo Lopez had the best tight defense, jab, and one punch KO power. Not much inside game.

    They're all well rounded and skilled in their own ways. I'd have to pick the more battle proven JMM.

    I go for Marquez. Lopez had better defense but he was also far less tested and came up against less styles. Marquez could fight in close quarters better than Lopez but Lopez hit harder pound for pound.

    Marquez had the best combinations, was even more creative offensively and with counter punches. Both had sublime IQ and positioning.

    Roman made excellent use of distance maybe even more so than they did. He had freakishly long arms for that size. He was a beauty to watch but I don’t quite have him as good overall as those two.

    Maybe Marquez,though I probably like Roman better.

    Funny that you mention this and the actually person who trained them gave his opinion on the matter and people just ignore it.
