True, but Golovkin has also been defined by his sheer power. The way he hit guys a few years back they just reacted so badly to his punch. Golovkin was a non stop pressure machine who hit very hard. Now his stamina seems to have taken a dip and he's not sustaining the non stop pressure like he used to. He's been boxing more a lot recently. The Lemiuex fight seemed to be a transition for him. It's like his body realized I'm 33 years old now and I can't fight the way I used to. But I agree that pressure did define most of his career, at the least the part where he was at his best. Pressure to me is the youngest style. It's why Roman Gonzalez is solidly past his prime already at just 30 years old. That and he's a Flyweight.

Whitaker landed and got away because he backed using great defense, If Pac hit Chavez the same amount as Pernell he would lose because Chavez would catch Pac a lot more than Whitaker, Chavez was beating Meldrick on the outside and slipping his jab that`s why he came inside but he also got busted up and so would Pac if he came in and threw that amount of punches, Oscar had too much reach for Chavez I think a lot of great Welters would have beat Chavez based on reach, Leonard Benitez certainly Hearns etc. Pac`s reach was about the same as Chavez`s.

Disagree. Chavez wouldnt have taken pacs quick punches easily without getting busted up and or cutting . Also Taylor was causing major problems for Chavez because of his speed, punch placement and athleticism and was winning the fight before the stoppage. Moral of the story is that Chavez has always had problems with fast fighters with an offensive style. I think this fantasy fight would be no different but in boxing you never know... Chavez would certainly have a good chance for sure.

Chocolatito. It was like watching old Henry Armstrong tapes (stylewise).

Prime Pac is more of an explosive in and out pressure fighter / boxer-puncher. Kind of rare style. Not the kind of stay in your face and grind you down fighter this thread is referring to.

I think the best way to describe Lomachenko, is that his defence is mostly made up of his offence, in that it completely shuts down guys from setting up to hit him back. Quite an anomaly. I'd pick him because you used the word "Skilled" in your title, there's been better pressure fighters for sure, GGG sits way atop of that pile.

id say Pac and Loma because they never stop throwing. GGG as well but he will jab more against challenging or dangerous opponents. Morales would be close.

But if youre looking for guys that always move foward and use physicality as well, then id would say guys like Margaritto, Castillo and Diego Corales

I think Sor Rungvisai deserves a shout. Non stop come forward tank with an extremely underrated ring IQ. Spence is also damn skilled himself.

this is my pick also. the pressure loma puts you under is not the same as the guys wielding hammers, but its not any easier to deal with because you cant counter it with movement or defense, you have to hurt him. salido was successful against a different loma, i think he is at a point where he understands how to put it all together for the pro game now.
