Tyson was hugely skillful

 

Its not that, he could fight on the inside brillantly, but he needed a slight bit of space, if too close he smothered his own work, that does'nt mean he can't fight on the inside, just that he's not a Fraizer's in that department.

 

Tyson had great skills, but he didn't exhibit his full repertoir that often after the 80's.

He was possibly the most overall skilled HW of them all. The only thing I would hold against him is that he often seemed tense in there, seemed to find it hard to fight relaxed.

 

From 1990 to 96 I still think Tyson was still extremely good



Good point about Holyfield

 

Technically he wasn't much on the inside in my opinion. Not necessarily even as good as Floyd Patterson. His power and speed made it a foolish idea for most fighters to do anything but run from him though.

 

I'm surprised that so many of you don't mention Tyson.

 

Last 20 years means 1990 and onwards though, and we know that Tyson's skills had eroded a lot at that point.

 

From 1990 to 96 he was still very, very good, I only pick Holyfield to defiantly beat him, in that period.

he's very underrated from that time line.
