Please sir, please sir. Chuck Davey and Billy Graham. I've put both names in a post above and think they fit the bill perfectly but I have been so long-winded before adding their names, I doubt anyone will get there.

Are you asking what I think you're asking about what I am asking about Tommy Loughran?

That is mostly right, but I am willing to countenance a fighter having money in later life, as long as he's part of a job and lifestyle that a stuffy 1950s middle manager would find acceptable.

@NoNeck's nomination of Calvin Brock is pretty close to being exactly on point. Middle class family. Goes into banking. Takes up professional boxing when it seems a good opportunity. Gets out of boxing after making a lot of money. Resumes life as a banker. Per Wiki, now has two kids and only one wife.

I'm not saying that he's saying you're asking what you think he's asking about your asking about Tommy Loughran, but he might be asking you to say what we all think you're thinking.

    Yes, come on, @Seamus.

    Spit it out.

As @cross_trainer seems to think I think you may think Tommy may have said.

The Evening Star from Wash DC describes Loughran as a "serious fellow, with a leaning toward the more cultural aspects of life."

According to the San Fran Chronicle, he lived with his mother until her death and then moved to the New York Athletic Club..."a bachelor with no ties."

Jimmy Braddock lived a blameless life. In retirement, he owned a company which rented heavy plant and machinery to the construction industry.
He was universally said to have been a doting husband and father. When Jimmy died, his sons took over the running of the business.
Tony Sibson is still with the same partner he was with as a teenager. He runs a successful design and build business in which his son is also a Director.
I can quote plenty of examples. Dave "Boy" Green is still married to his first wife, his twins are now in their early 40's. Dave runs a very successful warehousing and supply business and works tirelessly for local charities, particularly childrens'
Former British Middleweight Champion Jason Welborn has been with Rachel since school. He runs a skip hire business and, having passed his Heavy Goods first time, drives one his wagons himself.
We don't hear these stories because they don't sell papers.

Thanks for imfo buddy, have met Green several times at ex boxers function's and despite his ferocious style of fighting, in the flesh he is a warm and friendly man, and very modest to boot, on bad nights he can still feel Palominos body shots he says, backed him heavily to beat Stracey, well remember his war with Terry Waller with the vests on, he had a big rep in those days. stay safe matey.

Little Red Lopez actually grew up in poverty (on a reservation), but then went on to a scandal-free, clean life and has been married to the same woman for 50 years.
