    Hopkins-Tarver comes to mind.
moving up two divisions following the two Taylor losses to take on the best 175-pounder, quite the feat

Devon alexander-maidana. He wasnt quite washed up but people clearly thought he was no longer the fighter he use to be.

Both considered 'washed-up' at the time-- but more so for Monte Barrett when he faced David Tua the first time. Great unexpected performance by Two Gunz.

Actually, Hopkins-Tarver was my first thought. Maske-Hill II was pretty shocking too. And while he didn't win, Morales-Maidana was a huge surprise.

But seriously, Foreman-Moorer got to take it.

Hopkins v Pavlik, Mosley v cheato and Pac v Oscar did not surprise me one bit. I picked all three to win in dominant fashion.

I would say Pac/Morales 1, MAB/JMM, Ortiz/Berto, off the top of my head.

get the f#ck outta here. you didnt know dick
Mosley was coming off poor performances against poor oppostion and faced Margo who just destroyed Cotto. Undefeated Cotto who outboxed Cotto.

Everyone thought Pac would be too small against Oscar. A great big man beats a great little man.... they all said.

All the talk was will Pavlick be the first to stop old Popkins... not if the young newly crown champ would win but if he could get the KO.
