I agree, without hindsight you'd be an idiot to pick shane, pac, and hopkins in those fights.

Did you just start watching boxing?

Stupid troll, Marquez won 6-8 rounds in that fight.

I don't get the Pavlic-Hopkins example to be honest. Probably Hopkins-Pascal 2 is a better example

I agree exactly. Hopkins vs. Pascal 1 is a good shout, as Hopkins vs. Pavlik, and Tarver vs. Green

Duran - Barkley, especially after the 7th round when Barkley had Duran on ***** Street for a moment there.

Billy "Dynamite" Douglas, former midleweight contender, retired, called in as last minute replacement for bout in Madison Square Garden in 1970's . A main event, crowd booed him when he was announced as replacement for Tom Bethea, but crowd was on feet cheering him through last few rounds. . He beat Pedro Soto, a top prospect in Lightheavy division. Gave Soto a beating.

He was getting lots of media attention after fight, big comeback story. He was matched with fighter he filled in for, Bethea. They had fought years earlier as middleweights. Their bout got big build up, but was dissapointment. Douglas faded away, but his son, Buster Douglas, pulled big upset in Tyson bout years later.
