McGrain obviously had to be dicking around, to say that he's smarter than that is an understatement. Don't think I even know the rest of these cats...except maybe tobkhan, isn't he a Sam Peter hugger? Eh, regardless, anyone who made that pick seriously is either a bitter Brit or functionally clueless (not that the two are mutually exclusive).
Man I used to like Hamed because I thought it was funny how he was always screwing around in the ring and dancing and **** like that. But then I saw how many nuthuggers he has. The guy has little skill that only think that saved him was he had power. Which is also overrated by a lot. Man reading post that anyone calls Hamed great just makes me mad. And someone actully thinks he is the most skilled?? I can probably named 200 boxers of the top of my head that had more skill than Hamed P4P. I ****ing hate the ******* and not because of him either. Its the damn huggers.
Maybe McGrain voted for Hamed to be sarcastic. I can't think of any other damn good reason why anyone would anyway. Also I know this is a **** poll but Mosley and Hopkins could be put in there. I prime Mosley was as skilled as anyone can be.
Shane and Bernard fit just as easily as anyone else up there, absolutely. And to imagine that either of them prime4prime p4p head2head, would not use their surplus of talent to thoroughly embarrass Hamed worse than Barrera did...c'est impossible!
Your selection of fighters to vote from did not include enough fighters from different era's. Way to many modern fighters that are nowhere near being most talented ever.:huh
Maybe if you weren't such an idiot and took the time to read the whole thread, you might realise why these options are there...
I know they're there because you took them from ones the were nominated in the other thread. Which is why i'm talking **** about Hamed. Why the **** would anyone nominate him.
WHo knows. My best guess is that people think he was supremely talented, but lazy in the ring, and wasted his god given gifts. For the record, posters like McGrain were actually serious, as they have validated their point in the other thread. I certainly don't agree, I think he got credit for his unorthadox style more then anything, but people are entitled to their opinion. Once again, I apologise for the more knowledgable posters here that the thread didn't inculde more fighters from a range of era's. My rational is that based on talent alone, the fighters of previous eras would struggle to compete with the advancements in both boxing and sports science. Remeber we are measuring talent here not resume or ability in their respective era. Still, i was trying to leave my own personal bias out of it as much as possible by including peoples suggestions from the other thread. I am sure that if i ran the initial thread in the classic forum, the poll would have been very different.
Worst poll ever! By the way I voted SRR The options look like they were posted by someone who's been following boxing for about 5 minutes and read an old ring magazine. Hamed? Mayweather?? Meldrick ****ing Taylor??? Yougotabekiddingme!:huh :-( :-( :huh :scaredas:
