In some respects, Naz. He had freakish power and reflexes but such an unorthodox style that 99.9% of fighters would've gotten destroyed if they tried to employ it without his physical gifts. As far as all round athletic packages go, RJJ is well up there.
Hearns is nowhere near the most talented fighter ever IMHO. He was a great fighter but most talented?
Absolutely. His freakish power combined with his height, reach, speed. He was also a supremely talented boxer. Remember, he outboxed Leonard for most of their first fight and was robbed in the 2nd one, and Leonard was a great boxer.
If only he had an iron chin, may never have seen any of his staplemark losses. He was technically perfect.
Mike Tyson has to be up there, along with Ali, RJJ, SRL, Sugar, Sanchez, Pep, Armstrong... and Mayweather. He is absolutely an all-time great talent.
In no order: Sugar Ray Robinson Roy Jones Jr Naseem Hamed Muhammad Ali Hitman Hearns Sugar Ray Leonard Willie Pep Whitaker
Talent.. I think an unlikely name that was very talented fighter was Greg Page.... beleive that ... He was very good technically...
If he had an iron chin, it wouldn't have been fair to the mortals. That's like making Superman immuned to kryptonite. I am gonna toss out the supremely talented Donald Curry.
