First go at posting a poll so lets hope this works. Who at this point in time is the most tenacious fighter in boxing. I'm talking about the guys who get hit and immediately look to hit back, who are ferocious finishers and who relentlessly persue the knockout. Please add your reasons with your vote:good

Being my thread I will start off proceedings. Juan "Baby Bull" Diaz. Just the way he charges in on his opponents, storms in when he has them hurt and relentlessly looks to break his opponents down punch by punch is awesome. A tough choice though, as I think Pac is probably quicker to hit back, and Cotto is an awesome finisher, but overall I gotta go with the Baby Bull.

lol @ Juan Diaz - he isn't really a guy with one punch KO-power, just accumulative...I'm going for Pac or even Michael Katsidis, who is far more relentless than Diaz...

The thread said Tenacious not one punch power. Perhaps a dictionary is in order:good Watch Katsidis vs Amonosot, Diaz vs Freitas and Pac vs Larios and then tell me who fights the hardest and at the fastest pace. Definitely Diaz no question. He finishes every round strong and just doesn't let up the whole fight. Pac is guilty of fighting in spurts at time, and will sit back an box at times also. Diaz stays on his opponents chest and doesn't let them breathe.

Well, you did say the one who gets hit and immediatly hits back, when Pac gets tagged he unloads power punches, and hes always ferocious.

the more you hurt pac, the more he'll want to finish you off. like katsidis and diaz but more ferocious.

I am going with Pac, but only because my knowledge in Diaz is limited. Still, I rate Pac as a very tenacious fighter, so I can't be far off.

Correct but I want to look at it from all three aspects mentioned not just one. Still I have no problem with Pac as a choice he is a very tenacious fighter. I love watching all these guys for different reasons. Guys like Pac and Diaz are fun because you can see the aggression in their face when they are fired up. Cotto is like the cold blooded killer who just never shows emotion.

Pac is good in this regard almost like Morales. But sometimes he fights in spurts, and sometimes he will bop and move and throw pawing jabs, where as I find diaz will burrow in and look to make the fight the entire round. Cotto is more consistent IMO then Pac also. No one has mentioned Pavlik yet but I think he is a very aggressive fighter. He just walks through the other guys offense in order to put his own on. The way he bullied Miranda shows just how much self belief he has in his own power.

Yeah the Calzaghe/Mitchell proved Joe's worth in this department.

i'm a pac fan, and thats a good point. pac is a beast, athletic and stamina wise. but imo it's impossible even for him to fight at that fast a pace, throwing a lot of bombs in succesion, the entire fight. his pacing is good and he knows his limits. but in those spurts, he unleashes a ridiculous amount of aggression.
