Wilfredo Gomez has 17 defenses all by KO at 122 pounds (super bantam).

The gretest fighter in the history in that weightclass.

Hopkins has 20 defenses at middle weight, thats another one.

Joe Louis has 25 at HW.

That is all i know.

That is a start.

 

I thought it was Chavez with like 38 or so. Not sure tho.

 

Don't know of a site specifically. Calzaghe's 21 is the most at SMW. I'm pretty sure Carlos De Leon has the most at cruiserweight, but they weren't consecutive.

Chavez only had 11 defenses. He had a lot of nontitle fights against cabdrivers.

 

Chavez had 11 at most. He had a streak of 26 wins and 1 draw in title defenses but over a number of weight classes. And that's still only as many as Joe Louis managed in 1.

 

At welter is Armstrong with 20 or 21.
Light heavy i think its Foster .
Ricardo Lopez made a bunch of defenses too at straw.
bantam i think its Canizales.

 

Henry Armstrong has the record at Welterweight, 19 defenses.

Eusebio Pedroza at Featherweight, also 19 defenses.

I think it's Orlando Canizales at Bantamweight, 16 defenses.

Virgil Hill had a 12 WBA title defences before losing it to Tommy Hearns in '91.
Won vacant WBA belt back in '92 and had 11 defences before losing it too Dariusz Michalczewski in '97
