Yeah, I don't know about Peter. He was helluva strong an packed a punch, but his overall skills were at best, for me, mediocre. A poor man's Ray Mercer if you will.

Underrated definitely Lennox. Beat every man he ever faced, no matter how much that bothers the morons who hate on the man.

    Overrated.

Definitely Tyson. Because his mental strength was a weakness just like lack of power, or a **** chin is a weakness in others.

And even if you go along with his nut hugging fans ( which I don't ) his prime only lasted 15 minutes in the greater scheme of things.

It was more than 15 minutes. Tyson was a great talent in spite of the hype. The 1986-89 period he dominated about as emphatically as is possible, was clearly the best heavyweight during that era. Recognition was instant and universal. Who knows how good Tucker, Biggs, Williams and Bruno could have been without Tyson? Even later, From leaving prison Tyson was a two belt champ with but a few rounds of work. He was no 15 minute Wonder.

Riddick Bowe never established himself half as much. He shyed away from Lewis. His recognition was never universal.

Lewis himself might have wound up with the best record of the 1990s but he was a slow burner. Lewis still had to beat Holyfeild to complete his legacy and he was hardly as emphatically dominating doing it. Recognition was a long time coming. Lewis kind of outlasted the 1990s era of contenders as opposed to dominating it. He kind of "got there in the end". Nobody says that about Ali or Joe Louis.

Same with vitali. Nobody thought it was the start of a new era when he beat Herbie Hide. The brothers "got there in the end" too.

Too often an unpopular opinion is dismissed as trolling.

However Elroy is either blatantly trolling or imo seriously misguided...

but he is entitled to his opinion, how boring would this forum be if we all just agreed and patted each other on the back.

Interested to know where you would rank Ali amongst the great HW's?

Overrated , even though his career was made up of Tyson left overs:patsch

Prime for prime they shared two common opponents -Tucker and Bruno. Tyson whitewashed Tucker and Bruno

Bruno was outboxing Lewis and he looked amaterish against Tucker SEVEN YEARS after the Tyson loss.

Even 10 years past prime Tyson did the same job on Golota as Lewis did but gets no credit for it.

Tyson prime did everything better than Lewis. A better boxer , mover and puncher.

Yep, Tyson the overrated bum, beat nothing but bums like Biggs, Tucker, Bruno, Ruddock, Golota, Botha.

Lewis the legend, beat great opponents like like Biggs, Tucker, Bruno, Ruddock, Golota, Botha.

Tysons best wins, a former lhw 91 second destruction and an old man in Holmes

Lewis best wins, a former CW in Holyfield and a well past his best Mike Tyson.

Lewis definitely ended his career much better than Tyson and avenged his losses, but the gap between them is hardly as big as you try to make out.

You claim mental weakness is just as bad as having a bad chin?
Please explain to me when Tyson showed any mental weaknesses? Next your gonna tell me, Tyson caved in whenever anyone fought back right?

yes he bit Holyfield out of frustration in one fight. Lewis was knocked out twice.

If Lennox so easily supposedly handled THAT version of Tyson, why did he fight so sh*t scared against the old fat tyson who was coming off his career heaviest weight in his previous fight?

The way Lennox fought in 2002 doesnt show me that he manhandled Tyson when they were younger. Manny Steward had to scream at Lewis to get Tyson out of there. Hardly sounds like a guy who was confident. Then Lewis pulled out the bullsh*t excuse that hed hurt his hand.

Compare that Holyfields performance against a much better Tyson years earlier. Holyfield too sparred Tyson and was confident that hed beat him and that showed in his peformance in 96.

Most underrated, probably Langford? Hard to say, some do some don't.

Overated, maybe Tunney? I see people putting him in their top ten from time to time and it's patently ludicrous. Tunney>Langford is a bit of a reach, unless you're into stressing past-prime losses.

Toss bag ? More class and maturity I see... FYI, Einstein, I don`t cry and whine and I actually train professional boxers ... I have my opinions of many of today`s and yesterday`s fighters. just because you talk and act with ZERO class, doesn`t make you a tough guy pal... I see when communication and manners were taught, you were perpetually out to lunch...
