Who do you think is the most under rated fighter today? Personally, I think it's Froch. He's beaten Pascal (who's now dominating at LHW), Taylor, Dirrell, lost a close one to Kessler and next it's Abraham, all on the trott. I can't think of anyone who has faced such competiton one after the other. But he hardly even get's a sentance in the UK papers in the run up to his fights.

And he still get's bashed by fans quite alot, especially in the general forum on here, mainly because of the way he fights. I think he's a lot better than people think.

Froch gets a lot of hate because of his technical flaws, personally he gets the job done most of the time so he's fine by me. I think he's under appreciated. The man fights anyone and fights like a warrior.

In this modern era there's not many fighters who fight the fights he's fighting back to back. (in terms of Modern British Fighters).

Edit: Actually even fighters across the board..there ain't many around like Froch...fighting the cream of his division.

    Definetly carl froch.

Can't knock him for facing the best, as i feel that even without a tournamnet like the ss where you HAVE to face the best, he'd want to do it anyway.

    Froch get's my vote anyway.

I can see what your saying about Froch but dont get me wrong I dont dislike Froch but I and alot of people thought Dirrell was robbed including me because it was in Nottingham, and I no he won it but he was thirty seconds away from being out-boxed by taylor but at the same time you must give him credit also.

True, but if he was 30 seconds from defeat against Taylor and managed to win, that makes him even better IMO. Dirrell I think lost clearly because he was inexperienced and didn't have confidence in himself to go 12 hard rounds with Froch. In a rematch I think Dirrell would win.

I don't think he is as under rated as he was before.

Now he does get a lot more respect but still not a bad pick.

Please, Carl Froch is the most underrated fighter in all of boxing today? No chance. The amount of very good fighters below Featherweight who a lot of people dont even know is unbelievable, the majority of those guys are the most underrated, not Carl Froch.

Vitali for me. Yes, he's on the slide slightly but he's still a formidable opponent.

Probably Tony Thompson above Featherweight. Luiz Collazo is a good shout and Daniel Geale.

John Simpson has never gotten the credit he deserves. He's had a few defeats in his time but the majority of them have been close, he's been shafted on a couple and never ducks no-one.

And now he's going to Belfast. :bbb

Any top cruiserweight like Huck, Cunningham, Lebedev. It pisses me off when people talk about a fat heavyweight like Eddie Chambers or Brian Minto, and claim they should go down to the Cruierweight division and win a title.....like its gonna be easy.

Am I the only one seriously unconvinced by Lebedev's skill set, not to mention size at cruiserweight? Frankly he should be a journeyman but seems to have a ridiculous punch.

Honestly, I'm not hating on the guy , but how anyone can call Froch the most underrated fighter in all of boxing is beyond me.

Personally I'd rate Roman Gonzalez, Ulises Solis, Moruti Mthalane, Hugo Cazares, Tomas Rojas, Jeffrey Mathebula, Wilfredo Vasquez Jr, Anselmo Moreno, Steve Cunningham, Jorge Solis, Miguel Acosta are more underrated off the top of my head.

There's a difference between underrated and unknown ;)

I doubt even 10% of people on this forum have heard of, let alone seen, all of those guys you listed, whereas someone like Froch is known by everyone on the foum. Having said that, Miguel Acosta is a great shout :good
