That's a good point. But I think, whether they like him or not, most people can admit Froch is a very good fighter. He's underrated by some people but I wouldnt call the most underrated out there by any stretch. Point taken though, I see where you're coming from:good
How on earth is Froch underrated? He has some hard fights on the trot and suddenly he is the “warrior” of the whole boxing world.
Humberto Soto. A lot of people writing him off at the minute after a dip in form but give him a stage to preform on and he will. Not sure why he gets no attention by the Mexicans. Very active as well compared to some of todays fighters.
He's had a sweet run of fights you can't ask for anymore from him apart from beating Abraham that is:yep
Probably guys like Moreno and Wonjongkam. Hasegawa was getting a tremendous amount of love at one point for beating solid competition impressively, whereas Wonjongkam actually went to Japan himself and beat a very good fighter and he gets no love.
collazo, pushed hatton to the limit could argue he deserved the decision against berto whipped yuri foreman in the amateurs but is never mentioned amongst the big fights but froch is up there aswell i dont get why he does'nt get an inch in the papers it is wong really as the british public is being denied a guy who could be a real star but i bet 9/10 people have never heard of him
If I had to choose one it would probably be Hugo Cazares. Gave Calderon all he could handle over two bouts, paving the way for fellow Mexican Giovanni Segura to finish the job. Then skipped a weight division to move up to super flyweight, where he has registered some good wins, notably against Roberto "The Spider" Vasquez and Nobou Nashiro. Has had two keep busy defences of the title he won from Nashiro. He's a handfull for anyone at world level, but never gets talked about much.
i have followed froch from bbc right through to primetime the guy is immence my favourite british fighter and in my top 5 for a while for the reasons mentioned:thumbsup
