Totally agree, i think the ko against foreman and a few toward the end of his career are probably the biggest factors

I wouldn't say Greb is underappreciated, by people who actually know **** about boxing he is rated very highly- from #1-3 of all time typically...You could say the general public doesn't know **** about him, but even among boxing fans how many people even give due credit to fighters pre-1940?

 

John Henry Lewis is another.

Luis Manuel Rodriguez, possibly Jack Britton aswell.

To some extent Juan Manuel Marquez aswel. Forever in Morales and Barrera's shadow, but you could argue he was the best of the three.

 

On here he's probably under-rated. On the Classic you will find him in the overwhelming majority of top 10 lists. He's in my top 5, as he is with quite a few others posters.

On any credible P4P list he is far above both in my view... Greb has an undeniably incredible resume, possibly the best in boxing history.

Floyd? Great fighter, one that i am a huge fan of but I can't justify giving him a top ten spot in any HW list for real. H2H, resume, and overall significance keeps him just out by a hair.
