Great choices. Zaragoza-Tatsutoshi II was another gem too. Davila was a great fighter to watch. I’ve been meaning to upload the first Duarte fight for a while. He looked electric in that one.

1971 Japanese fight of the year. Bantamweight champion Ruben Olivares vs Kazuyoshi Kanazawa II. The first fight is prior to Olivares' reign and Olivares KO's Kanazawa in the first fight in the 2nd rd, unfortunately it appears no footage of that exists. Kanazawa, knowing that this is surely his last and best chance to be a champion and gives the fight of his life, and it looks as though at one point he is almost, thaaaaat close to getting it done. It really is just a hell of a fight.

A short one, but McCallum-Jackson was fantastic every second it lasted. Jones-Folley doesn't get talked about much either, but it was a great one.

These ones are certainly not underrated. Check boxrec's top 100 title fights. Patterson-Johansson III is ranked #31, Marciano-Walcott I is #16, and Graziano-Zale II is #2. No bad intentions here. I just don't think it's true. That's fine though. You're not a huge heavyweight expert, right? idk

I guess you might be right about 'em in that respect. There are a lot of posters on here who think that if a fight isn't 80s and 90s or newer that it's absolute ****.

The 70s cannot be overrated imo, although I guess it fits into the 80s and 90s category (sort of). A lot of people just don't like black and white, we'll say.
