Most Underrated Poster

Posts more in the Classic Forum, and doesn't post as much as someone like KG or Brooklyn. I don't mean people underrate him, I mean he isn't as known aside from guys like us.

Someone like Manassa in the Classic forum and Lounge is a no-name to those in the general forum, yet a more knowledgable, analytically skilled poster than any one of them. Stonehands89 as well.

 

Seems like a bunch of guys all patting eachother on the back in this thread for having the same types of posts on this site....why not just form a club...this way when we see you post we can immediatley bow down and hope you don't see us...hopefully then we won't envoke your wrath and here things like "Nuthugger, and Oscar-Sexual".....your thought provoking insites go on and on...please give me a break. I may be in the minority here, but I actually prefer people who post replies with actual well thought out responses that foster interest in the thread opening up more room for debate...not a bunch of you f'ing nuthugger...so and so sucks...Presscot rules...did you see that Jack...I mentioned you...can I be in your club....oh wait...they are going to see I only have 108 posts on this website and call me a newb again...I don't have enough status to speak the truth...how ignorant of me to forget that.......sad really. :-(

Yep...you nailed me down to being bitter. :huh Did you even comprehend what I posted? I do not come to this site to be an accepted sheep.....I come because I love boxing and enjoy a good debate! I could care less whether or not some smart ass that doesn't have enough intelligence to type a well thought out response accepts me or not...or thinks I am a good poster... I simply wrote what I wrote because it is my opinion. :good
The simple truth is, when you all started out on this site you didn't all copy guys like Jack Presscot (and others) word for word....you probably had your own opinions and wrote what you really thought...now, whether you realize it or not, you have been programmed.....you just type what you think your heroes on this site would want you to type...it is so obvious in your posts....and all of it is just so you can feel accepted..be in the "club".......so again....sad really! :-(

I agree; I have noticed that with myself. When I came here, I knew ****. Now, I know **** but I think I know quite a bit, when in fact, I just regurgitate orthodox positions, most of the time...funny thing is, though, these orthodox opinions tend to have a hell of a lot of truth in them...as can be seen after a fight when many ESB consensus opinions from the analysis and prediction threads end up being spot on...coincidence or collaborative expertise?

I do admit, however, that most of us won't improve much unless we keep watching a lot more fights and doing the hard slog of analysing those fights and styles ourselves...

...I admire people like e.g. Dorfmeister and Brickhaus, for example, who often disagree with the prevailing orthodoxy at the expense of their reputations, but do it with proper well-argued, 100% proof arguments. Yeah, they do get it wrong from time to time, but they make very good analysts and they become better faster than some like me, for example...

Actually I am not upset at all. I typed all of that with a smirk on my face. And in fairness, it was not aimed at all of the people who posted in this thread...so for that, I do apologize. But there are those out there that fit in this category...and they know who they are....I was just simply venting out what I have seen way too much of around here....these guys I am talking about, have literally ruined more threads than I can count with worthless bashing and un-inspired writing styles. Just wait, once they read what I have written...it will be just like moths to a flame....and I will be proven right! Oh darn, now since I typed that they won't bash me....they will use a well thought out response....but wait....I have them there too....LOL....perhaps they will do the smart thing and not respond at all....that way they won't annouce outright that they are who I was talking about!
