    Has put himself into?

Basically, a weight class where a fighter had no real place in being, but by staying unbelievably lean or becoming overweight, they ended up in anyway.

I don't know if this applies to Hearn's or not. The man was definitely kept nearly superhumanly lean for years. But he did move up well regardless...

I used to laugh my ass off whenever i watched Eric Morel, I think he was fighting at 112.

Deigo Corrales comes to mind, he was way to big for 130.

When Barbados Joe Walcott fought Kid Lavigne under the lightweight limit he had to work in the furnace room of a steamer, shoveling coal while wearing oilskins.

Winky Wright @ 170. He did well against B-Hop - but his mid-section was looking a little big there.

Guillermo Jones. He's 6' 4" and started out at MW and is knocking people out at HW and CW. I don't know what weight class he's suppose to be at!

A lot of the Thai fighters boiled down.

The excellent Thai Sot Chitalada suggested the Thai way was to find a fighters 'fighting weight' then stick him in a sauna for a gym and make him lose 10% of their weight.

Chitalada walked around at 135 and has fought at 108...

27lbs may not seem an awful lot of weight for this debate, but we are talking about nearly a quarter of the fighters natural weight.

I guess it also may also show why in part many Thai fighters have short boxing careers (although many also do Mauy-Thai stuff)

Asian fighters in general seem to have little to no longetivity...

    Why is that?
