We are talking about vicious beatings and ko's and some of the fights that you guys are mentioning are more retaliatory than reality, lmao.
I don't believe any man in boxing history has ever been more brutalised than Jess Williard against Jack Dempsey certainly within a 3 minute round.

recently that beating curtis stevens took in the 8th round from triple G was pretty vicious. too bad they stopped it.
I agree with you mate, and some of the fights about 70 years ago and longer ago were fought till a KO was scored even after over 40 rounds in the baking hot sun some of them were, Brutal on a completely different scale. By the way I'm only 17 but I realize that a lot of the fights and boxing in general was much tougher and the fighters and people in general were much tougher in the past, I sometimes wish it was like what it was back then but then again probably wouldn't be saying that if I had a time machine and went back to then haha but I think some things like boxing was a lot better back then so I like to do a bit of boxing history and stuff like watching the old fights on youtube.:good
I remember back sometime in the 80's S.T. Gordon pummeling Carlos DeLeon something awful and the ref just standing there and doing nothing. There was a big stink about it then back when beating were allowed to go on much longer so you know it was bad. Can't find any video on it though
Dempsey-Willard Baer-Carnera For just a KO the Cooney-Norton KO was about as brutal as it gets. Also Foreman KOing Cooney was brutal.
