    This is actually pretty astute.

Roy Jones Jr as wasted talent?

Four division champion....MW all the way to HW. Arguably the best LHW ever. Beat Hopkins (ATG), Toney (ATG), Mccallum, Hill, Griffin, Woods, Ruiz, Tarver, Trinidad, etc.

Considered by many to be a top 20-30 ATG.

    How???

    :huh

    :huh Calvin Brock?

I always thought he was pretty limited. Not very athletic and not very big. A good all around fighter, don't get me wrong, but not a threat to the better heavyweights.

I think he made the most of his talent.

Zab Judah. Great handspeed. Nice power. Good combinations. Could have been a terrific boxer/brawler if he had the right mental makeup.

Not sure about Reid. he and his people knew that his time was limited due to the eye problem and they rushed him along. He was on the fast track. Without the eye problem I think that his managment would have moved him along slower and he would have been more successful.

I have to go with Shannon Briggs. I think that he was the most talented heavyweight in a long time.

As much as I have always loved RJJ - I think he met too many prospects from 98-02. He has been the best all the way through the 90s - and would have beaten everyone.

It's not that I am not content - more like he could have done a bit more. He had the talents to be 10-20 ATG.

Ssshh - I don't want all these Classical fans arguing with me again - it's like a broken pencil; pointless.

But we all know Calzaghe had the talent to be the GOAT, Sir CHJ tells us that he already is the GOAT!

 - Since not all of us are gifted with foresight - the rest of us would need to have JC fight ATGs on end to cement this fact.

**** right off. Vitali Klistchko was not a naturally talented boxer, he utilised his size, strength and power very well, but dont tell me he has more natural talent than guys like Judah, Hamed, Ibeabuchi, etc

Ibeabuchi? That guy had no talent at all - just physical prowess.

He was big, athletic, very strong, great chin, good power. And he had good skills as well. Lets say 'talented' in HW terms.
