anyways, corley right hook to temple making cotto bodypop. also dont forget how torres was wobbling him almost the whole fight. also paulie of all people span him pretty heavily.

anyone remember about 2006/early 2007 how people thought cotto was a joke...really in one thread on weakest champs ever cotto was put in. at 140 he was good but looked feeble and fragile at welter he looks much better.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Donald Curry. He was pushing himself for years until it finally caught up with him. Interesting that alot of these cases are from the modern era with all the different weight divisions which you would of thought would make it easier for fighters :think.

I think it happened back in the old days as well. Lamotta made a point of it in Raging Bull.
My dad says to this day that doing the bantam limit for him was the most traumatic experience in his life.

jeff fenech was eating nothing but laxatives and vitamin pills night and day for two weeks to fight mcrory. he said he knew hed come in under the limit but he was worried he might die before they put him on the scale. roy jones stripping off 8kg of pure muscle in 8 weeks for the tarver rematch had to be hard.

When Mickey Walker lost his WW Title to rival Pete Latzo, he trained himself down to 144, and paid for it in the ring.
