We had seven in 2008/9 - not sure if we've had more than that before - defo not before the influx of belts but could have done at somepoint after especially if you count WBO early doors.

Prescott wa is 08 I think so I imagaine he beat Kotelnik in 2009 to win the title so he probably did hold a belt by the time the show came around

Yep and Witter lost his belt in 08, so around 07-08 is the period I'm thinking of

during the time of Proper World titles and even better; in the greatest period of all, we had Mills at L-HW and Patterson at Flyweight. So two titles from then is far greater than a half dozen Paper Titles & Beltholders.

I'm sure we must have had 3 when there only were 8 at some point too, God knows we had some excellent Top Fighters during those great days as well.

    Late 2007 probably.

    Calzaghe
    Haye
    Witter
    Maccarinelli
    Woods
    Arthur

Can't remember any more. Hatton wasn't a ''world champion'' in the strictest sense, whereas Alex Arthur was despite never winning a world title fight.

    2007/8 had:

    Clinton Woods until April 08
Joe calzaghe - not sure when he vacated his title, sometime early 08 I think
Enzo Macaranelli - until March 08
David Haye - vacated at somepoint around summer 08
Alex Arthur/Nicky Cook - had title between them through to 09
Junior Witter - until May 08
gavin rees - until March 08

So yeah - from about Decemeber 07- March 08 is probably the highest

Funny how we had two light-welterweight world champs and neither were considered the best LWW in Britain, pretty much says how much the belts are worth.

What about when Eubank, Benn, McMillan, Hodkinson, Pyatt, Hide and Lennox were all belt holders?
