Dude, I was at the fight. Believe me, Judah was not in contention. But that's not even the point. The point is - when have you ever know Judah to fight a disciplined fight? He's always a wild card. Making that bet was as good as throwing your money in the trash compactor. I mean the dude lost to Cory Spinks, for chrissakes, and blamed his Baldomir loss on Don King's promotional tour. Judah is too much of a wild card to ever place a bet on.
I hadn't thought about this for a long time. When I was in my 20s (about 100 years ago), I used to work out at a gym in Miami and bet a buck or two on the fights every week -- just for laughs. I went almost a year without a loss, and word got around that I couldn't lose. The guys begged me to bet for them. I told them I didn't mind losing my money but I didn't wanna be responsible for theirs. But, I kept winning, and they kept pushing me to bet for them. Finally, they had me believing I couldn't lose. I picked out a 5-1 shot, and they got $3500 together. We all went to the Miami Beach Auditorium with the bookmaker. You've already guessed result. I wasn't very popular at the gym.
I'm not a regular bettor but I lost $200 on JMM losing to Cris John. :fire  I simply can't pass the offer of my buddy of betting on JMM on even odds. I thought I have it in the bag. :huh
Lost £40 on Braithwaite the weekend and the same on Judah last month. Biggest win was £550 on Hopkins to beat Tarver on pts and Cotto to beat Malignaggi on points in a double. And i nearly forgot i won £125 on Hatton stopping Kostya in round 11.
Won over $1200 on Briggs Then..... Lost $1000 on Briggs Ah well wasnt that painful over all. Atleast I came away ahead.
