Richard Dunn. That would be a great chin to see carved out of stone, especially with it’s own picnic ledge to dangle your legs from…OR to fully hang from by your mere finger tips in a really cool, suspense thriller.
Few people have chosen Tua until today, and now he has been chosen twice in a row My choice was Mohammad Ali, Oliver McCall, George Foreman and David Tua. The 10 heavyweights to choose from were not chosen by me, but I counted who was mentioned the most by the members of this forum on the topic: https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/top-10-hw-chins-of-all-time.712888/
4 presidents are: Mohammad Ali, Oliver McCall, George Foreman and David Tua; imho. Also is this the top 10 HW chins of all time? Or you have your own better list?
Marion Wilson had a Mcall like chin and would spoil on top of it. Look at his level competition and the fact that he was never stopped outside of a cut early in his career.

Good post. The greatest outlier as far as range would have to be Floyd Patterson: Extremely low single-punch resistance (probably lowest of any heavyweight champ), very high accusative punch resistance and recovery ability (probably top 10 in both categories).
this list requires at least 5 to be fair. Any list of the best chins that doesn’t leave room for these guys, as well as Ray Mercer, is just wrong. Honorable mention to Holyfield, who is only slightly below these.
