I like that Estrada is trying to move up. Mount Whitaker has not looked good of late but its encouraging that he is in shape. Im picking Estrada by close decision.

I just put this in another thread, but 239 is an incredible weight--a career low!

Based on that and the fact that Estrada is a bit overrated, I'll take Whitaker to pull the upset.

Would a Whitaker win really be that big of an upset? Estrada got his ass handed to him by Travis Walker for Christ's sake. Whitaker >>>> Walker. Very similar fighters, only Whitaker can actully bang and has experience.

I'd be very surprised if Estrada wins. If he does, it's more of an indictment of Whitaker being shot than a support of Estrada being good.

Whitaker in the best shape of his life. He isn't going to let this pass him up. I favor him to win.

239! I would have been impressed if he had been at 250. Hopefully for him, that means he has been working hard and has re-dedicated himself to the sport.

Whitaker winning would not be an upset, at all.

I am leaning towards Lance to TKO Estrada, late. Whitaker is not an upper tier heavy, but he is more of an accomplished and big time fighter than Estrada, by far.......Estrada is not on the level of Whitaker and he'll learn that tonight.

Its also good, no, make that, GREAT to see Whitaker is such phenomenal condition. He's ripped and READY! Even though he's not overly skilled nor overly powerful, I still like the guy and enjoy watching him fight. He has a sort of McClne-like appeal. You can't help but pull for him.

    Go, LANCE!

Since when does having muscles make you a better boxer? Whitaker has always been and will always be a top 50 boxer at best. He is a C level heavyweight.

Whitaker is toast. He should have been able to win that fight with even a modicum of aggression.
