Once again...I personally maintain...Mousasi is "the" best lhw prospect right now...and probably # 2 or # 1 LHW..(even though he's not fighting in the ufc...) Mousasi , Shogun & Machida...are the top dogs
he is a damn good fighter,he has ice water running through his veins just like fedor,he kinda started off slow.i think he should drop back down to middleweight cuz i think lightheavys will be to stronger than him.it looked like it in this fight
I think Jon Jones is a better prospect to be honest, Mousasi is very good of course but Jon looks like Anderson Silva #2 with wrestling skills LOL..the kid is gonna be a problem.
Mousasi is no prospect hes spent the last 18 month beating the hell of out of some of the best fighters at his weight classes.
Well the TS was the one who called him a "prospect" first so i just went with the flow, and also thus far Mousasi's best win was against Babalu, not exactly the biggest name out there is he?.
Whooping up on Mark Hunt, Babalu, Denis Kang, Sokoudjou, Jacare Souza is a hell of alot better then beating Stephan Bonnar and Jake O'Brein I like Jones but he hasnt shown nearly as much as Mousasi has.
He is very good. Let's see how he does against dan henderson in the future. If he can beat henderson and dominate him then there's no doubt his a top 3 at least with machida and shogun.
Just looking at his record hasn't this kid already lost twice? ..look i'm not saying he's crap all i'm saying is if people think he's gonna have his own way in the lhw division then think again, Bones is a few years younger and Mousasi has 21 more fights on his resume so of course he's gonna be ahead right now, but in terms of potential and talent then Bones could be leagues above Gegard imo.
Well Mousasi's to loses are about as important as Bernard Hopkins loss to Clint Mitchell. Might be the same fighter in name but Mousasi is 20 times the fighter he was 4 years ago.
Jones is talented. No doubt about that. He might even hold a strap someday. But don't get carried away.
