The difference between Lomachenko and Rigo is both where ducked but one hose to move up and chase fighters and titles,whilst the other has been content to fight journeymen.

 

Loma critics should be hyping the Mikey fight. Mikey can actually beat him.

 

Lomachenko will beat Mikey, but Mikey said the fight depends on Showtime. Lomachenko will also beat Rigo, he said he would fight Rigo at 130, Rigo will not sign a contract. Lomachenko wants Davis, but Davis will not fight him, ad infinitum..........

 

Why are critics mindlessly supporting a Rigo fight at 130?! What kind of joke is that? If Loma doesn't win that, then I will shower 7 times and repent for suspecting he was TBE level.

This is not a fight, this is a circus fight.

 

All the posters on here constantly bringing up amateur pedigree and valuing the amateurs as part of their pro career essentially should be watering from the mouth for this matchup.

I'd rather have a titlist at 130 for Lomo but if not Salido II obviously for sure and Rigo are acceptable fights.

It's like Canelo vs. Chavez. On paper it didn't have much merit but if you know boxing and business you know and understand it was a reasonable and logical fight to make. The difference there is that at least Chavez, the inferior fighter, was two divisions above Canelo. With Lomo/Rigo it would be the opposite.

For Lomo's legacy, Salido rematch needs to happen. It's already gone too long without it and if old man Salido keeps on fading like he has, it will continue to mean less and less as time goes on. So I'd like that personally.

 

Glad team Loma is getting this out of the way early, making the offer that Rigoblin will turn down so they can get on with finding an opponent for December! Only problem is that Salido has been wasting there time for the past couple years as well.

I just have this horrible gut feeling Loma is going to get stuck with another perfunctory opponent coming up.

Loma should just ignore Rigo he won't get much credit for beating the small old man, it is not Loma's fault that Rigo has wasted his career. Loma hopefully gets Salido in December then move up to 135 next year for Garcia.

I would like to see Lomachenko fight Salido first, knock him out, then he can knock Rigo out.....................after that he can fight Garcia. Lomachenko is being very underestimated..................
