Movie : Hands of Stone (2014)

Idk about Usher, but this movie has a helluva cast. Was dissappointed about Garcia-Bernal not doing the role, but Ramirez is almost as good. I really don't think Usher will ruin the whole movie who knows he might actually do good, but DeNiro, Ramirez, and Carlos Bardem, Javier Bardem's brother, are top knotch. I really wish they coulda done up to Barkley, to show the rise and fall, and rise again of the mighty Duran.

 

Why cant they just use SRL ?! dye his hair to look more darker, a little make=up and make him look 25 again.

They can do "Hands of Stone II" in a couple years, telling the story of Paulie Malignaggi's life.

 

People said the same thing about Will Smith playing Ali.

 

I want a Marciano movie and I want it now.

 

Something tells me it's going to be a slow, steady build up to the first Leonard fight.

 

Jon Favreau already did a decent one back in the 90's. Of course, someone could do a better one but I'm not sure if Rocky's personal life was interesting enough to warrant another one. Then again, if someone can make a really good movie about Micky Ward, surely someone could make one about Rocky Marciano...

 

As others have already stated, they obviously aren't going to try to cover everything. The Buchanan fight , Dejesus trilogy and Leonard I will probably be covered in depth.

 

I thought it a very hight quality movie. Favreau did great
