I think he is an insecure person and I think he does like to play mind games. I don’t think he does it to try and intimidate you because he needs to look in the mirror because he is not what you call intimidating looking with his nice suits on and his bling. It doesn’t exactly want to make me run straight away. I think what he tries to do is get under your skin and annoy you; it’s more to annoy you than to scare you. But he must surely know when he sees me and he looks at me that I am not scared of him. He knows I believe I can win and he knows I have no fear of him. I think during the promotional tour when he saw he got no reaction from me that it affected him more than it affected me. It’s like water off a ducks back to me, it doesn’t matter what he says or what insults he throws at me, I could not care less.”
Sounds like he has got under Hatton's skin by the constant insults he is hurling, which is pretty out of character
For someone that was supposedly not affected by Floyds trash talking Hatton sure does have him on his mind alot lol!
As much as they want to say otherwise, it really does seem as if Mayweather's gotten under his skin. Bad news, if your a Hatton fan.
Rickys confident, and Floyd does annoy him, but he realizes Mayweather is ignorant . Sometimes getting under an opponents skin can work against you, like when Ali bought himself a world of trouble constantly pissing off Frazier. The difference here is Hatton isn't too offended by Floyd, and once the bell rings Hatton will do what Hatton does.It won't be enough to win , although it could be a decent fight.
