Thanks, but wouldn't you like to touch up The Man? I just got the impression it's something you would enjoy doing - touching up The Man?

I can't speak for 20a87, but I know why I was a Mundine nut-hugger, and still interested follower.

    1. Great athlete. Was good in league, a play maker who liked to make things happen. Shows great athletic ability in his prime as a boxer.

    2. Self promoted. Mundine runs his own show. It does take confidence to do this, as any small business owners will know.

But the things that have turned me off was his unwillingness to step up post Soliman II victory. I know there were some injuries, but still were some very average choices. Also the hip-hop gangsta crew rubbish. How many people do you need in a corner.

I've believed for a long time that if Mundine did the right things in his career (in the ring) then he would have the respect and admiration he craves. I came away from the Soliman II demolition thinking "WOW". But other than that and the Green victory what would I really have if I was a Mundine follower? He's promised filet mignon but delivered Big Mac's.

Bro with the amount of e-stalkers that frequent the aussie forum it would be ridiculous to confirm or deny any personal info, I mean it's a lifestyle for Creepy Puppet and 20a87'sCHB so it would ruin their lives too.

    Haterade for 1?

Mundine is one of the world's greatest athletes, he has never sold out to anyone that would inhibit what he can and can't say. He walked away from being the highest paid NRL star on principle, he's a great fighter with an extremely slick style and he's running his boxing career his own way. People in australia don't tend to "get" that when he runs his mouth he's not deadly serious so they hate - much like the naz hate in the uk.

Choc is "the man" and on the cusp of forever being known as "the pioneer".

buddy..I'll tell ya i don't hate Mundine..I actually met him and will attest that I thought him to be a humble and genuine guy if i ever met one...and I respect his accomplishments...but I also recognise at some stage he put his financially security above his legacy as a fighter..that as a man I cannot begrudge but as a boxing fan the fact is after all these years he's failed to deliver the 'big fights'...but I'll go along with the charade...although I couldn't be ****ed drivin' 20 k's over to Port Douglas to watch his last fight...it's just dissapointment I feel when I hear the name Mundine...

..and buddy..you're a funny kunt with much wit..keep up your Mundine crusade..some of it is a good laugh..I'm bein' serious too..:good

He's in the process of cementing his legacy now. His defining moment is unquestionably the green victory due the size of the fight.
His best win is either echols, geale or alvarez but all he needs is a win over a "name" to convert the majority of haters despite the fact that a mosley is a worse victory than the geale fight.

Choc is an event fighter, trust me! When trout puts his belt on the line choc will kill him to make history and become the pioneer, when he gets a name in the ring like cotto he will win easily and people will say cotto is shot.

"The man" is not done yet he's going to steamroll 154 :deal stick with him boys and you'll be looking pretty smart in 8 months time.

20a87 please stop talking nonsense mate. Your a fan of mandy good on you but don't talk **** about cementing legacy at 36 yrs old. And continually dropping Cotto's name is is simply all talk. Cotto is a world class fighter who would beat the daylights out of the man. I find it amusing that you put alverez in as one of his top wins.................he punched a human punching bag who had concrete for feet & the hand speed of a tortoise. Keep dreaming though. I honestly hope he gets in the ring with someone of world class..........Garth Wood maybe..........sorry that was low.

One of the myths among casual boxing fans is that barerra destroyed naz, he beat him fair and square but it wasn't as dominant as people pretend it was, pushing someone into a turnbuckle doesnt score points you chump. If Naz had made a triumphant return post 9/11 on HBO I hardly think him shouting praise be to allah would have gone down well with the gullible USA public, fact is Naz was done with boxing and US tv was done with Naz.

Clearly you never watched the Naz v Barerra fight because anyone with even the most rudimentry boxing knowledge could see that the good Catholic punched the living **** out of your Muslim brother! Agree re your turnbuckle comment, Barerra actually lost a point for yet still won oh so comfortably! Bottom line is we will never know how HBO would have reacted to Naz because he did not like what he got a taste off against Baarerra and quit!

Lol really weak argument if you think any of the fighters above could rival Choc for pre fight hype you are deluded he's made for tv. Untested saul, cheating marg, one round ko victim kirkland, green card angulo etc etc

These guys fight on the leading boxing network in the US and Mexico whilst Mundine is watched by 100,000 at best on Main Event and whomever he can attract at the gate via freebies! Choc's ability to hype a fight has got him nowhere outside of Australia!

Did not really mean anything by it! Just tossed it in to be controversial! Since I am dealing with a dickhead, I thought I'd act like one!
