...anyone else at SMW? [yt]OER6Qod6Bgc[/yt] And what makes you say Pascal is better than Taylor and than Lacy? It seems you are trying to hype Froch up like your peers hyped Khan; and...you sure have been sucking up to him (Froch)! Thank you.
I think Dawson is pretty much the biggest American hypejob going at the moment - though Tarver may be blowing out of his arse after two minutes and could be outworked. Pascal ain't all that, but I suppose Steve is judging Taylor on his recent form and blatant ducking of Froch to face a shot Jeff Lacy. Perhpas JT needs an easy win after a couple of losses and gift decisions in his favour. Froch will KO Pascal and would UD Bute - Taylor and Kessler (especially) would present a much stiffer test.
Well, you say Taylor is avoiding Froch because he's decided to fight Lacy instead of Froch, next, right? But...would you say Taylor had avoided Froch IF after beating Lacy he decides to fight Bute or Kessler, instead of fighting for Froch's WBC strap? ...I wouldn't! I would say: Taylor wanted an easier fight than against Froch to regain his confidence after two losses in a row, before fighting one of the best two, proven world class fighters in the division - Kessler or Bute, instead of a fighter who only beat a wobbly prospect - Pascal, and who is, hence, less proven than Kessler or Bute. If Taylor fights Froch, if they both win, for the WBC strap, I would say he's avoiding Kessler and Bute, the better, more difficult fighters, whom he could fight instead!
Each case needs to be judged on it's own merit I suppose I don't think Taylor is in any rush to get in there with Froch though :deal I would be inclined to agree with you - easy tune up followed by tough opponent, rather than tough opponent and easy first mando.... (or vacate title).
There you go... ...remember, Taylor doesn't need to get a belt to get big fights, like Froch, for example. He is already a big draw. To him, Froch might be more dangerous, and thus a bad risk-reward, but what is certain is that Froch is NOT proven either for better or worse, so there's little point in Taylor fighting him, if he wanted to prove himself, say. And since he doesn't...he just wants to get back on track, I'm not going to blame him too much for not fighting Froch next. He has always fought the best before and he's not a dodger. Froch should understand that AGAIN he is calling people duckers who are a league above - proven world class fighters who have a certain name...unlike Froch - when they have never heard of him - a mere prospect with a big mouth.
