So ESBs favourite titan has a movie coming out http://www.skysports.com/boxing/news/12183/10010099/watch-the-exclusive-trailer-of-mr-calzaghe-that
No matter what you think about his boxing abilities, it certainly is an amazing story for a guy to start out working out in his garage in the middle of nowhere, trained by a nobody in the boxing world, and end up fighting for titles in Las Vegas and Madison Square Garden. Amazing.
You were talking about Gee , than posted 'special fighter' in reference to Gee. If you meant Joe , then you're thick because you can't put together a coherent post.
Herol Graham was undoubtably special. anyway good to see another Brit getting a documentary made about his career. Its on limited release, my guess is mainly in wales where it should de ok. Its been put back from the summer for some reason. http://www.myvue.com/latest-movies/info/film/mr-calzaghe Hopefully better than the Ronaldo doc, I saw last night which was shyte despite being made on a much bigger budget and way bigger star. Its all about the way the films made. Would have been better in my opinion for Calzaghe to be directed by someone who doesn't mind uncapping controversy, like Asif Kapadia (he shot the eye watering docs on Senna and Amy). He'd really lift the lid on wassen's fakery, a much more interesting topic than 95% of joes fights.
special fighters don't lick windows. unless you mean "licked" and "Windows" as in them punching out their computer screens in a frustrated kind of John L Sullivan fashion. I can see him "licking" his PC screen as soon as it crashed on him.
This clearly reads Herrol Gee is a special fighter. A thread about Calzaghe and your natural instinct was to post about another user. You're thick , as are most knuckle dragging racists.
Saitov, if you were referring to me, you are clearly wrong with your remark, I have actually praised the coming of the doc. Perhaps you should now be a man and take back the post you wrote, which has become a blatant lie. and why asre you asking someone to writer about wlad in a calzaghe thread. please dont spoil a decent thread, thank you.
this doc is actually an inspiring local documentary for poorer kids from wales. a lot of them will not have heard of joe calzaghe, but will now be able to see that with some careful career planning someone poor from their background can actually defend a world title and get hof status.
yeh but I wont pay for it. it'll be on tv in a few weeks anyway, and youtube shortly after, you'd be insane to go to wales for one movie. might go to Cardiff for the new year though, they know how to party there.
over the years most of them. I have got good at using youtube over the years, I usually stick on a fight or sports event in a small window half the time I use a computer, just to keep my mind busy.
I can see this is the one boxing movie thats going to top them all and will be the one that will go on to be greater than Raging Bull, Rocky and all of the others. Thought I should drop in for Beouche the official Mr Calzaghe thread starter, but jokes aside I doubt I will watch it
Calzaghe is truly the greatest fighter of his time. Where is Mayweather's movie, Roy Jones, even De La Hoya? Only Calzaghe!
wow what a nuclear war scale fail ther lefthand, you set new standards for yourself. Observe - Mayweathers multiple documetaries were made years ago whilst he was still active. Oscar has not just had a doc made about himself, hes also acted AND made a film doc. Finally, Roy Jones was a major character in the 2nd biggest scifi trilogy of all time The Matrix as well as supporting fiction and games, nearly 2 decades ago? On top of another dozen movie roles. why did you not pick some fighters who wouldnt shoot you in the foot?
