Agreed! Though I think Calzaghe gives Kovalev hell until the stoppage. Ward might have early success too, but he doesn't have Calzaghe's chin in my opinion and would be stopped mid rounds.

 

I liked Calzaghe when he was fighting...and I consider him a great fighter. But he would get drubbed badly if he comes back...

lets not detract from a good local release welsh sports doc and the acheivements therin, it makes me proud that more people are learning who joe is from this film. 11 years wbo titlist! no other lesser title holder chose to hold the wbo title for so long, an ace achievement.

Yeah but people weren't obsessed with Maske being some sort of fraud and I think talent wise people are much higher on Ward.

The likes of poor old Herol - Joe Calzaghe's most obsessed follower - would have to be placed upon suicide watch indefinitely in the unlikely event that happened.

Then six months later he'd be able to be alone by himself again, having concocted a story about how Calzaghe beat a shot version of a never very good Ward.
