bump up to let everyone know it was on tv the other night, just weeks after its failed release in the cinema where it bombed.

bbc screened it but only in wales, as there was no interest in England or Scotland or N. Ireland for this movie about joes world career.

 

You totally lost me with ward needing a big opponent, Calzaghe hadn't trained for 7 years, the better part of a decade and you think he should come back to fight ward ?

He's a cokehead... but prime for prime Ward beats him... I mean look at how many times Joe ducked Lacy before they finally got it on... he would have done the same if Ward was in his era.

 

it was covered in sport wales too, where enzo admitted joe had some appalling defences.

 

to be fair,in the film clip on sports wales you can see he has a fully developed cowke nose, with the bridge of the nose keeling over under its weight and one nostril (that's favoured for snorting) clearly enlarged.

 

I really wasn't aware Joe ducked lacy at all. Say hello ducked him 25 times, that truly has zero to do with the outcome of any fighter.

That's exactly as weak as the fighters with the supposedly better resume wins, only on these forums do resume fight for the fighters.

Too many on here try to make it a formula. like tonight, of course Chris has the better names on his resume and I've read he can get the upset because his resume Might be better. It's a mismatch, their resumes mean nothing right now.

I'm not sure Chris has a better resume, can't count khan and pac as positives since he lost both, provo is the only name in his resume and provo gets so over rated from fighting closely with Bradley, very close even tho Bradley was literally out on his feet more than once and pulled (to the tee) a Judah.

Both the 2nd round, major difference was the incompetent ref somehow missed Bradley being floored and while calling it a slip (simultaneously) Bradley couldn't get up, the drunken fool was completely out of it, falling back down TWICE and all drooling and stumbling to get his footing.

The ref had to be paid off, not only because he kept letting Bradley recover for 20+ seconds, he wouldn't even consider knock downs..

That's the fight that proved for a fact that Bradley isn't ever capable of being an elite fighter. It was always obvious but some thought he was a future great. No great fighter gets beaten up that Bradley by a provo level fighter.

If Bradley regained control totally after being ktfo in the 2nd round and totally dominated provo and abused him the rest of the fight, then he would had proved he's capable of being an A- fighter one day. But nope, kept getting caught with the same over hand right all night and got a gift win...

Provo at worst fought Bradley to a draw

Wown, way off topic. Anyways, one being accused of ducking anyone doesn't have anything to do with any potential fight .

Prime v prime, at 168 or 175 ward v Calzaghe is a true pickem fight, and I rate Joe very highly which must mean wards been raised in my eyes.

Some gave him B for the Barrera fight, bull ****ing ****, that was an A performance, seriously one of his very best and that's a lot to do with Barrera being his first true test and he passed with flying colors

 

Joe ducked Lacy twice with fake hand injuries, to study Lacy further and gain the nuts to finally step up...

 

In Calzaghe's prime, Ward gets stopped late. Remember Prime Calzaghe had healthy hands.
