Not trying to suggest anything. Just pointing out irrefutable facts.

If Canelo meets GGG, Canelo should get around 85-90% of the proceeds :nod

But Ward deserved a big share from the Cotto-Canelo purse had he fought on the undercard? Way to go MVC, right back to trolling.

He was a co-main event attraction and should have had some of that cake. He would have increased sales by a decent margin, maybe up to 1.1-1.2 million? :think

And this thread has NOTHING whatsoever to do with Ward!!! :good

How are those irrefutable stas when most people say GGG/Lemiux did 150kk buys? Canelo should get 65/35 imo but I don't really care what either one gets.I just want the fight to happen at 160 so neither will be drained and both will be at thier best

Ha-ha-ha. 97k is "irrefutable fact" :nono What a moron !

And why would somebody be surprised that established Mexican and PR ppv stars fighting each other in an evenly matched fight would vastly outsell a Kazakh fighting an unknown Canadian with 7:1 betting odds ?

    And bingo was his name-o!
This! Of course Canelo would make more. He's got a whole country behind him. GGG, not yet.

... and what is more important for REAL boxing fans, is that at 160, GGG would beat both Canelo and Cotto ON THE SAME DAY.

That's not how It works these days. Canelo was the favourite yet Cotto got the bigger split. Who brings more to the table, that defines all the "A side/B side" garbage.

Can't compare Rafael numbers and Glaser numbers- one reports the most aggressive numbers, the other is the most bearish.

This fight did way better, by a factor of multiples, but the sources must remain consistent for fair comparisons.

97k is way too high, the actual number is 50k according to the trusted Twitter source.
