I’m sure you’ll get a very precautious referee for this one that will jump in after Paul gets wobbled back to the ropes by a few hooks or jabs, perhaps it’s suited to Howard Foster or Ian John Lewis.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if AJ takes a dive, to set up Usyk v Paul for the undisputed world championship ..... with AJ (or a company associated with AJ) emerging as a partner/promoter/manager of Paul's side of the deal.

I don't think anyone puts up with it, it's just how boxing development in the pros has always worked
    That's never going to change

Clearly trainers, coaches and promotions see the importance of them or else they wouldn't happen

Yes £50m of reasons for doing so.

If this is a genuine fight, I would expect Humble to walk across and finish the fight within 30 seconds.

Should Humble be chinned at any stage of the fight, then I am watching Wrestling for 2 years.

See your point yes, totally agree that it is a horrific fight in a boxing sense, I’m wanting to see it myself for the theatre. It will be a nice distraction to see AJ spark Paul, real bread and circus stuff here.

Officially, there are a lot of people who want to distance themselves from this event, but no one wants to miss it. Everyone will be watching.

Netflix can expect huge viewership and this gigantic event will give their platform a huge boost.

I have 6 - 8 young colleagues (age 20 to 30) and they all believe AJ is ready to be taken and Jake Paul is the man to do it :)

The Joshua soul was taken by Ruiz on 1 June 2019 and he was always a decent boxer in a very poor era for the heavyweight division but well below elite level.

This young crew are correct in one sense that any good boxer who lets those hands go will chin Joshua - Paul does not fit that criteria unless it is staged.

I can’t believe such a miss match has even been considered let alone sanctioned. Paul is levels above AJ.

One of them said to me : Do you have balls ? If you have balls, we bet £5000.

At first glance, it would be easy money to make, but if the fight is fixed..?

Surely AJ wouldn’t sign up for a fix fight unless the money was absolutely life changing, and what would that be in his position? He’s got an image and a brand to protect, with the Fury fight most likely still on the table, once Partridge is denied enough attention, the Usyk trilogy is rightfully dead, he comes to the table.

First ever fight I’ll be supporting Joshua, except against the MMA fella. I know I’ll feel deflated at the end of it as he’s not going to do the job properly.

Yes, but, on the other hand ..
I'm not sure it matters who you lose to if you're past your best, 36 years old, coming off a loss and a lay-off, and already half out of the game.
It would be a shocker and an embarrassing loss for a while, but really, if the aim is to retire anyway, it really doesn't matter. It would literally sit at the end of his record as a meaningless loss.

I'm not sure why people are so sure "Fury and Joshua is being lined up" for 2026, when it's been lined up for almost 10 years now, and never happened.
