No big interest for me now - I am far more interested in the journey of Wardley and Itauma plus the DDD comeback.

This very thread says otherwise it seems.

You may well be more interested in the other fights but we all know there is zero chance you miss this fight.

The excitement level for Fury v Joshua is about the same as Liverpool Legends v Real Madrid Legends.

The outcome of the fight is a complete irrelevance to me as boxing moves on to the next generation of fighters challenging for World Titles.

Certainly no chance of any PPV Loot from me for that fight which is 6-10 years past sell by date.

Disagree fury v AJ next year will be the most viewed British fight of all time by a mile, nothing will come remotely close. It's not ppv (or at least don't think so)

Like I said there is zero chance you miss this fight. Absolute ZERO. You will watch the fight and you will be all over it the build up and the talk after the fight.

No it's no buts, your words won't disguise the excitement you will have for it.

I'll do you a bet infact... If this fight indeed has no interest to you. I will propose a user name change bet for 6 months. If you avoid talking about the fight from now til 2 weeks after the fight then you decide my user name and I can't change it (within forum rules) and if you can't avoid the build up or watching the fight then I get to change your name for 6 months on here?

Easy win for you surely then you can get me to change my name to anything you want.

Can't offer you an easier bet than that surely if you wanna back up words....

A bet you can win with zero influence from me is as easy as it can get. All you have to do is follow through with your claims...

I say it as it is - I also watch many football matches with little interest in the outcomes.

They may be past the sell-out date (both AJ and Fury) but it's still a HUGE event that will generate huge interest.

The stadium they choose to put Fury vs AJ in will sell out in no time.

    Quack quack quack.

You will be over it. You will be one of the most prominent posters on the fight on here.

You can't wait for it, both Paul v AJ and AJ v Fury will have you hooked.

That was a very easy bet to win and you ducked it more than AJ ducked the rematch with DDD.

Enjoy the fights, I don't think there is a poster on here that is anticipating either fight as much as you. You will be on the refresh for the next 12 months looking to be first with threads just like this very one.

It will not only beat any other British fight, it will smash any viewings for a British fight. It will most likely be the most viewed heavyweight fight of all time also.

This will be the biggest fight in British history and will remain so for some time most likely.

You will not see me posting on the forum moderator's official RBR Thread for Joshua v Paul while this card is on as I won't be watching.

That is a guarantee but I may comment the morning after I watch the 30 secs of highlights and that is my level of interest.

My views of Joshua and Fury remain whatever happens in the future - both non elite British Heavyweights fighting in a very poor era until Usyk arrived. I thought Fury was a level above the limited Joshua when both at their best but who cares what happens now as both only fighting for loot.

I never said you would be in the rbr for the Paul fight. You will watch the whole fight though, no chance you don't. No chance you pass up possible content to roast AJ with. No one is buying these lies

As far the fury/AJ fight goes. There is zero chance you won't watch that fight. There is zero chance you will not be one of the most prominent posters for that fight on here pre and post fight. You may not care about the outcome but you will be obsessed about the fight.

That's why I offered that bet and that's why you ducked it.

You be one of the most invested posters on here for that fury fight. Guaranteed.

    I largely agree with this.

Ultimately, if the fight comes off, it won't tell us who was the better fighter in their primes, and it won't add a hell of a lot to their legacies. Certainly, not for me.

However, a good fight is a good fight, regardless of what level it is at. I always felt that Fury wins a UD, with the possibility a Joshua KO (or multiple knockdowns to potentially eek out a close decision). With them both being past their best, how competitive the fight turns out to be will be based on who is more degraded. For a more competitive 50/50 fight, I'd assume we'd need Fury to have weakened more than Joshua, but not so much that he is shot.

It has always been an intriguing fight for me due to the clash of styles. Whilst nothing is on the line apart from their respective pride and egos, hopefully, we'll get a decent fight. Eubank v Benn I was a farce on paper, but produced a very entertaining fight. Hopefully, we get something like that rather than Eubank v Benn II.

If I was watching the fight, I would be on the RBR thread as usual.
