Assume Mr. Tiger is MW Champ (instead of LaMotta) in 1951,
and takes on SRR (as welter champ moving up).

    Who wins????

Good fight. I have to go Robinson. At that time he was still young enough to move but experianced enough to conserve his energy. Tiger would win some rounds with his pressure. It's a good fast fight.
    9-6 Sugar Ray

Robinson by clear decision, most likely.
Robinson is capable of KOing or TKOing Tiger ...... he TKO'd LaMotta and KO'd Fullmer after all ........ but I'll give Tiger the benefit there. Tiger was very durable.

What was Mr Tigers real name? Why didn’t he call himself Tony? It would have make life a lot easier for people in the next century, wanting to post about him on boxing forums.

Mr. Tiger was a total beast during his early Middleweight career, but since Sugar Ray is the GOAT I have to give him the edge:yikes:
