Anyone who didn’t think Usyk-Fury was a great fight does not appreciate the sport and should stick to checkers.

Not sure why you didn't think Usyk vs Fury was a great HW title fight. The fight gave exactly what the fans wanted. It was highly competitive, had great action and drama, it lived up to the hype and was worth the wait. It only makes sense for there to be a rematch.

Turki and the Saudi's won't be calling the shots. They have no interest in running the sport. The reports suggest this new organisation is a $5bil enterprise, of which the Saudi's are only investing for a minority share. So who will make the majority of the shares?

Hearn, Warren and the other promoters involved in this. The reason they're all working together now, and smiling like cheshire cats is because they're getting shares of this $5bil company, at a massively inflated value than their companies are worth. Matchroom, Queensberry, etc are being absorbed into this thing, as their investment. This thing isn't just a short term project which the Saudi's are chucking money at and then ****ing off. This is the "UFC" style boxing organisation which will be closed off from the rest of the sport, with its own rankings and titles and exclusive, invite only membership for 200 fighters. There won't be any promoters in this thing in the same way UFC doesn't have promoters, they're not needed. The brand name, whatever they go with, is the promoter.

It will be its own sanctioning body, with its own rankings, title shots. All sporting decisions will be being made by the most money grubbing, people in the sport who will be making all the decisions based on what's best for business and not on sporting merit. With no independence or accountability. Manipulating rankings to manufacture big fights, etc. No mandatories since they will be withdrawing from competing for the current sanctioning body belts. No cross promotions with anyone outside of this organisation. Even deciding who gets invited to participate is going to be based on marketability rather than talent.

The sport is being hijacked, and turned from accessible global sport. To an elitist invite only for profit business. By the Saudis and the biggest money grubbing ****s in the sport, the promoters.

All it took was them to exploit our desires to see some top fights. So they've gave us enough to herald them as the saviours of the sports.. And then gone on a charm assault to whitewash people's prior opinions of them. Eddie and Frank telling everyone they were now working together because "His Excellency gave us both a telling off, and told us we need to work together so we did" then they walk about giving it the best pals act and everyone forgets the years of big fights that didn't happen because they wouldn't pick up a phone to each other. And don't forget all the sound bites they made sure to repeat every press conference to get the fans loving Turki and the Saudis, "His Excellency is proper boxing fan, he loves the sport", "His Excellency as a fan is making these fights. He's telling us who to match", "His Excellency's favourite fighter is Mark Chamberlain, he loved his performance against Gavin Gwynne at York Hall" and don't forget "His Excellency's vision for this sport...."

All the while they've been plotting the privatisation of the sport, the rankings and the titles in the background.

And when we found out about it, everyone was elated. **** the corrupt governing bodies. The sport will soon be in the safe hands of a hardcore boxing fan in Turki, and good old honest Eddie and Frank who are all about the fans. All hail the new Godfathers of the sports.
