Mr.Ward will have amassed the best win in the last 20 years with a win over Kovalev.

Holy ****, going up to 175 and fighting an undefeated top 3 p4p fighter in the world. If he wins this fight, there's no question that he will have surpassed Manny Pacquiao in accomplishments. Beating the scariest p4p puncher in the game (Besides Deontay Wilder). Wow!!

    Ward is on the brink.

Cleaned out 168, then cleaning out 175 in emphatic fashion, while out of his prime.

Then Mr.Ward will probably clean up 200 as well I reckon!!!

    Then HEAVYWEIGHT!!!!

if that is the case, you must think kovalev is #1pfp if he wins.

    Yes I do.

Whoever wins this is p4p #1. But Ward winning this gets him much more credit than if Kovalev wins this (Which is also a great accomplishment).

    The scales are different.

Ward's personal referee, judges, boxing commission have made Ward more confident. Can the referee protect SOB Ward from getting knocked out?

Except for JMM's victory over Pac, Castillo's victory over Mayweather, Pac and Mayweather's victory over De La Hoya, Pac's victories over Morales and Barrera, Morales and Barrera's victories over each other, Rigondeaux's victory over Donaire, and possibly Gonzalez' victory over Estrada. But regardless of whoever wins Kovalev vs Ward, it should be a great scalp and worthy of recognition, unless it's a complete **** show like May vs Pac.

Dumbass alert. Floyd smashed him twice.

This win is much better than JMM's win or Pac's for that matter.

Definitely up there with the biggest wins.

I think Ward will win the fight. Because even those who think Kovalev would win would place more value on Wars 0 being taken than they would on Kovalev.

    Second best win

Shot to **** 50 year old Marquez almost killing Pacquiao was the best win in boxing history let alone the past 20 years

If he beats Kovalev, unifies with Stevenson, and then takes on some solid up and comers like Alvarez, Beterbiev, Shabransky, Joe smith Jr, and maybe a filler with an old Brahmer coupled with his 168 resume that is a damn good resume.

Kovalev is so overrated lol. The 175 division is poor, he will look silly against ward.

Winning every round against a 29 year old Marco Antonio Barrera and then smashing him into such defeat that his brother jumps into the ring crying will be hard to top.
