Appreciate you coming on and telling us about Willie mate, it's the first time i've watched Willie in a live fight and after hearing about fighting Khan etc i was really disappointed with him, just expected more but it seems something just wasn't right for him on the night, unsure where he goes from here though.
I like Willie, good fight but when you are so many rounds down and have nothing to lose then fight like it. So sad that so many boxers just want to survive.
Willie didnt box his best, no doubt about it, but he is a classy guy. I have met him a fair few times an he is a top top lad! He looked a little overtrained, maybe left a bit of the magic in the gym. Wish the idiots on here would stop giving him a hard time, shite like the Bannockburn remark from the english fanny is out of order. I think he will be back and hopefully show us a bit more of the his classy boxing.
Willie is a good fighter he should strike whils tthe iron is hot at 140 he could definitely get a shot at that weight with 1 or 2 decent wins at the weight. He deserves to win a lonsdale. :good
willie will appreciate all of your positive comments... he knows he will have to work extremely hard if he is to get back to title level... he is just gutted at his performance last night, it didnt resemble the willie limond i know.
He had a bad day at office it happens, Tbh from the opening round it looked like Willie had nothing to offer. Crolla did a nice steady job but i think Willie's better then that. He was arguing with Peter for some reason which was strange, He looked weary to me and only got going when it was to late. Strange display but atmosphere didn't exactly help it sounded quiet. Maybe he needed a lift to get him going but his careers not over he just needs to fight more and fight at this level.
maybe the tosser can go and win the great WBU title that he was banging on about a few months ago and become a genuine world champion for scotland and one of the best pound for pound holders of the wbu title in history
