I agree, there is nothing wrong for Mtagwa asking people to pray for him and I will actually pray for both of them...

But, that statement seems like Mtagwa knows that he is facing a real Lion and he realizes that his safety is at a high risk. That's not a good sign as he can be very intimidated tonight inside the ring looking at Yuriorkis, plus that will also be a very big advantage for the Cuban... :think

He better look good. He will be at least 10 pounds heavier than Mtagwa tonight. And he beeter get ready for the 130lbs. I don't see him able to make 126lbs for much longer

You getting the whole thing wrong. The guy is African. His culture is different to ours. Praying not to get hurt is a normal thing for a warrior before going to war. It doesn't mean he is intimidated at all.
But he did looked depressed and without energy during the weight in. I wonder what was that about..

Think about it..... Whats the significance of today fights????
Lopez: He had a tough time against Mtagwa. But he is stepping up in weight to challenge a 126lbs champion. He has been asking to go up in weight for three fight now and apparently making weight affected him last time. Lets see if that is true.
Gamboa: A big muscular 126lbs who should be going to 130lbs any time. He could have been fighting Elio Rojas, Steven Luevano, Chris John, Rocky Juarez, or Jorge Solis tonight. Instead, he is figthing a guy from the 122lbs division who is coming from losing a very close hard fight against Juanma.

Gamboa will win by 1st round KO if Mtagwa starts to swing wildly like he normally does.

I think Gamboa is going to explode on Mtagwa's chin

Gamboa has no problems making the 126lbs weight and he too can easily fight at 130lbs but no more than 135lbs as he can lose some of that great speed!!!

I'm a huge Gamboa fan but I really hope for both their sakes, they will retire with at least a decent nest egg and enough of their faculties to enjoy life.
